Mrs. Fannie E. Haggerton wife of Mr. C. W. Haggerton, after an illness of some weeks died at residence in south part of the city, Saturday evening at 4:45 o’clock and was buried in the City Cemetery Sunday evening.

The funeral service was conducted by her pastor at the Baptist church of which she was an esteemed member. Mrs. Haggerton, nee Pyles, was born June 21, 1864 in Fannin County, Texas. Professed faith in Christ when 17 years of age, uniting herself with the Baptist Church making a faithful member of same until her death.

In 1882 she was married to J.D. Smith who died in 1901, leaving her a widow with three children, two daughters and one son. In 1903 she was married to C. W. Haggerton of this city, to whom was born a son, now four years of age.

Her children of both unions are still living to experience the loss of mother. In behalf of the church and numerous friends of
sister Haggerton, I wish to express our deepest sympathy and condolence to the bereaved husband and children and command to the protection and guidance of him, whose spirit was so manifest in the life, and as gloriously crowned by victory in the dying hours of this noble woman.
A. Jetf Davis, Pastor
