Jewel May (Priddy) Galaway, 97, of Nocona, TX, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010 in Nocona.

She was born July 11, 1912 near Long Branch in Montague County, TX to Herb and Mary Priddy. In 1943, she married Howard B. Galaway. She owned a beauty shop for over 50 years. She was a member of the Nocona Church of Christ.

Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Nocona Church of Christ with Mike Priddy officiating. Burial followed at Nocona Cemetery under the direction of Scott Morris Funeral Home.

Survivors include: two daughters, Kay Hawkins of Las Cruces, NM and Francine Campbell of Abilene; step son, Jim Galaway of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
