NOCONA – Jimmy Ray Nix, 67, died June 2, 2017 in Nocona, TX.
A visitation was from 6-7 p.m. June 5 at Jerry Woods Funeral Home Chapel in Nocona.
A funeral service was at 10 a.m. June 6 at the Montague County Cowboy Church with the ministers Joe Caballero, Scott Hamilton and Mike Martin. Interment was at Nocona Cemetery.
He was born on April 10, 1950 in Nocona to J.R. Nix and Mary Lee Flemming. Nix married Carla Davis in August of 2000 in Nocona. Nix worked in the oilfield/chemical business, and did small engine repairs.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Linda Ray Ressell.
He is survived by his wife, Carla Nix, Nocona; sons, Jason Nix, Nocona and Joshua Nix, Rosebud, AR; daughter, Cristal Berry, Nocona and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the IPF Foundation.
