Angel Dyer gained her wings on April 28, 2023. She was in her home in Nocona, Texas, surrounded by her grandchildren, children, and loved ones. Right where she wanted to be.

Medalia Angelique Dyer "Angel" was born in Nocona, Texas, on January 21, 1957 to Billie Gene Yarbrough and Helen Sue (Evans) Yarbrough. She grew up with her siblings, LaJuana, W.R., and Jimmy. She graduated Nocona High School with her loving classmates in 1975. She was a faithful member of the Nocona Church of Christ. Angel married Leslie Walker and together, they were blessed with their daughter Kandi Walker and son Heath Walker in addition to her two bonus daughters, that she loved dearly as well, Christie
Walker and Brandie Sparks.

Angel began her early years creating magic in the bakeries from Granbury, Texas to Dallas, Texas. She worked her way through Success Barber School in Wichita Falls, Texas and proudly became a Barber in 1979. With that, she moved to Dallas, Texas to operate at A Cut Above before returning to her hometown to work in a salon with her mother, Suzie Yarbrough and then A Shear Pleasure for over four decades, 43 years to be exact.

Angel's life was selfless, full, and it was fiercely centered around her family, faith, friends and community. Especially around her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was such a giving and supportive person. If she could help anybody, she always did. Angel had many important titles. Angel was a daughter, niece, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-aunt, even a great-great aunt, and she was a dear friend to have in your corner. Those were the most important things on this earth to Angel! She was full of sass, full of love, and she was so strong as well!

Angel is survived by her mother Suzie Yarbrough of Nocona, Texas, daughter Kandi Walker of Pilot Point, Texas, son Heath Walker of Nocona, Texas, son-in-law Chalao Hernandez of Nocona, Texas, bonus daughters Christie and husband Robin Walker of Nocona, Texas, and Brandie and husband Cecil Sparks of Arlington, Texas, grandchildren Brooklee and husband Kolby Walker of Savannah, Texas, Isabela Hernandez of Wichita Falls, Texas, Liam Acuna of Lubbock, Texas, Sophie Hord of Montague, Texas, Leroy and Raenie Walker of Nocona, Texas. Bonus grandchildren Katelynn and husband Tyler Price of Bowie, Texas, Ali Walker of Justin, Texas, R. J. Walker of Nocona, Texas, Great-grandchildren Micah, Evi Grace, and Amber Walker of Savannah, Texas, bonus great-grandchild Nolan Price of Bowie, Texas. Her siblings LaJuana Yarbrough of Nocona, Texas, W.R. and wife Sue Yarbrough of Nocona, Texas, Jimmy and wife Patty Yarbrough of Schertz, Texas, Dejah Dauth of Arlington, Texas, Bree and husband Randy Haun of Saginaw, Texas, all of her precious nieces, nephews, cousins who were all so special to her. Angel leaves behind an endless list of family and friends as well all her clients
that became her dear friends.

Angel was proceeded in death by her father Billie Gene Yarbrough, grandparents Gene and Eva (Smith) Yarbrough, Ray and Flo (Stewart) Evans, Leslie Walker, and bonus grandchildren Caleb and Jacob Sparks.
Angel was loved by so many and she will be greatly missed. On behalf of the family, we are sending out a heartfelt "Thank You" to everyone who touched Angel's life.

Family visitation and slide show will be May 7, 2023, from 6-8pm at Scott-Morris Funeral Home in Nocona, Texas. Funeral Services will be Monday, May 8, 2023, at 2pm at Nocona Church of Christ in Nocona, Texas with Austin Wright, Ricky Kerr, and Charlie Hibdon officiating.
