John Wesley Coleman, II of Belcherville passed from this life March 17, 2023 in Grapevine after a long struggle with dementia. He was 78.

John was born July 30, 1944 to John and Christine Coleman. John got a job at Braniff airlines while in college, and he worked for Braniff until they closed in 1982. While working for Braniff, John started his own custom framing business which he owned and operated for 25 years. Later John earned his real estate license. He worked with Tom Horn in the Nocona area for several years and found great success and friendships in that business.

John is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Rita Coleman; children Carla Shroeder, John Wesley Coleman, III, and Christopher Coleman; and grandchildren: Christian Coleman, Camryn Schroeder, Addison Schroeder, Landon Schroeder, and Zoe Coleman
John's family loved him dearly. His passing leaves a space no one could fill.

John's family has entrusted his care to Scott-Morris Funeral Home. The family will have a private service.
