Funeral services were held at the Nocona Baptist Church Wednesday. January 15th, for Jasper Ray Gallant, who passed away at his home in Belcherville, January 14th. Services were held at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Dane of Belcherville. officiating. Interment was made in the Nocona cemetery under the direction of the Daugherty Funeral Home.
Jasper Ray Gallant was born near Forney Texas, and passed away at the age of 50 years, 11 months, and 1 day of age. He had been a member of the Baptist church for more than ten years.
Survivors include one brother. Tom Gallant of Terrell Texas, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Shadden of Dallas.
