Funeral services were held at the Nocona cemetery Thursday afternoon. December 22, at two o'clock for Mrs. Georgia Ann Covington, pioneer resident of Nocona. Services were conducted by Rev G. N Stone.  Interment was made in the Nocona Cemetery under direction oi the J. H. Cone Funeral Home of Nocona.
Mrs. Georgia Ann  Covington was born January 2, 1855 in Cobb County. Georgia, and died at home about two and one-half miles south ofNocona Wednesday, December 21, at the age of  83  years, 11 months, and 19 days.   Mrs. Covington had made her home in Nocona for about fifty years.   Her husband preceded her in death. She was making her home  with  her  grandson, Arthur Thompson, at the time of her death.
Survivors include one son, Will  Covington of Nocona, one daughter, Mrs. Lucy Thompson of Nocona, and grandchildren, J. B. Thompson of Grandfield, Oklahoma, Mrs. Beulah Fowler of Belcherville,  Arthur Thompson of  Nocona, Raymond Covington of Houston, Roy Covington of Wichita Falls, and James and  O'Neal Covington Of Nocona.
