Mrs. B. B. Godfrey died at the family home Tuesday night  of this week at eight o'clock after an illness of several days. Mr and Mrs. Godfrey are new-comers to this place, having only lived here a few months, but they have made many friends who deeply sympathize with the husband and other relatives over the loss of Mrs. Godfrey. The remains were interred at the city cemetery at four o'clock Wednesday afternoon. The News joins in sympathy to the bereaved family.
