Funeral services for Mrs. Ball were Saturday, September 3, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Nocona with Rev. Dave Woodbury officiating. Scott Morris Funeral Home of Nocona directed the service. Survivors include: her husband, Ray Walker Sr. of Nocona, TX; son Barney Ball of Nocona, TX; three grandchildren, Heather Ball, Robin & Christie Walker and Sherry & Chad Brown; four great grandchildren, Katelynn Walker, Ali Walker, Raylee Brown and Karlee Brown; one sister, Betty Leonard of Nocona, TX; and two brothers, Dale Pope of Prattville, AL and Joe Pope of Scotland, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association, or to the American Red Cross.
