After a long illness, Mrs. Susan E. Menasco died Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. P. Pribble, and was buried Tuesday. The funeral service was held at the Methodist Church in Nocona by Rev. J. P. Humphreys of Nocona and Rev. Minor Bounds of Gainesville. Interment was at the Nocona Cemetery. She was born October 14, 1855 at Louisville, Kentucky and died at Nocona August 21, 1922, was 66 years old. She is survived by eleven children, one brother W. T. Skinner of Nocona, two sisters Mrs. W. P. McBride of Burkburnett and Mrs. M. E. Elath of Nocona.
