The funeral was held Thursday morning at the Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. W. R. McCarter, assisted by Rev. Lem Hodges. Interment was in the Nocona cemetery. Guston Lee Paine was a son of Capt. and Mrs. T. P. Paine. He was born October 22, 1879 at Henderson, Texas and died May 24, 1921 at Nocona, Texas, 41 years old. He was reared to manhood in and near Nocona and married here. His wife, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Cubine, with several children, his aged parents, brothers and sisters, survive.
