Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Feb. 13, at the Church of Christ in Nocona for Mrs. Frances M. Watson, who passed away Friday, Feb. 11, in Wichita Falls. Ministers J. R. Waldrum and Boyd Taylor officiated. Mrs. Watson was born July 31, 1872 in Denison, Texas and later moved to Oklahoma. She made Nocona her home from 1900 until she moved to Burkburnett in 1922. She later moved to Iowa Park and was making her home with her son H. B. Watson at the time of death. She had been in ill health for a year. She was an active member of the Church of Christ. Her husband Charles H. Watson died Feb. 6, 1910. Survivors include three sons, H. B. Watson of Iowa Park, Charles A. Watson of Rising Star, Paul T. Watson of Fort Worth, two daughters MRS. W. B. Roling of Electra and MRS. Jack Weatherford of Wichita Falls, one brother H. C. Bradley of Nocona, two sisters Mrs. S. H. Kincaid and Mrs. Robert Sullivan all of Nocona, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Interment was at Nocona Cemetery.
