Richard A. Thomas, 70, passed away Monday, October 7, 2013, in Nocona, Texas. He was born August 29, 1943 to Anna V. Dale Diehl and Theodore Lee Thomas. He was known around town as the lawn mower man. He would mow lawns for those who could not, and later you would see him all over town on his mower.

Graveside services were at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at the Nocona Cemetery with Jonathon Brown officiating. Funeral is under the direction of Scott-Morris Funeral Home.

Rat is survived by his brother, Charles Thomas of Nocona and sister, Barbara Word of Oklahoma.
