Adrian Hill, 89, passed away in Nocona, Texas, on October 27,2014. Adrian was born in Spanish Fort, Texas, on July 29, 1925, to Erskin and Helen Hill. 

Adrian served in the U.S. army. During his service he obtained a purple heart medal, 2 Bronze Service Star medals, and many other awards. Adrian worked in the oil field, for the postal service, and as a school teacher for many years. He was a member of Valley View Baptist Church.

Funeral Services were held on Thursday, October 30, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in Jerry Woods Chapel. Interment followed in Nocona Cemetery. Rev. Scott Penick officiated.

Adrian is survived by his daughters, Pamela Walker of Bowie, Texas, Paula Thompkins of Spanish Fort, Texas and Marlissa Gibbs also of Spanish Fort, Texas; sister, Rosemary Vickery of Wichita Falls, Texas, six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren
