Herbert Otto Moenning, 77 of Mineral Wells, Texas, passed away in Fort Worth, Texas, on April 8, 2015.

Herbert was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on July 17, 1937, to Otto Moenning and Ruby Crow. He married Lea Lunsford in New Mexico on January 1, 1985. Herbert worked for Mitchell-Gas and did carpentry work, and was a member of Southside Chruch of Christ, Mineral Wells, Texas. 
    
Funeral services were held Friday April 10, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Molsbee Chapel Church in Montague County, Texas Joe Crow offi ciated. Interment followed at Nocona Cemetery in Nocona, Texas. Arrangements entrusted to Jerry Woods Funeral Home in Nocona, Texas.
   
He is survived by his wife, Lea Moenning of New Mexico; sons, Coby Moenning of Wylie, Texas, Dennis Ray Moenning of Mingus, Texas, Mark Braswell of Mineral Wells, Texas, and Mike Braswell of Artesia, New Mexico; Daughter, Mona Talbert; sisters, Maxcine Stoddard of Nocona, Texas, Sharon Miller of Saint Jo, Texas, Reva Dishman of Nocona, Texas; brothers, Vernie Moenning of Electra, Texas, Herman Moenning of Lincoln, Nebraska; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
