Cecil Wade Doyle, 84, of Paris, Texas died Friday, August 26th, at 7PM in Texas Stroke Institute of Plano.

A Korean War Army Veteran, Cecil made his career as a butcher in Lawton, Oklahoma and Wichita Fall. he became a USDA inspector in 1977 and retired from working at Pilgrim's in Mt. Pleasant in 1988. He and his wife, Willetta, lived in Bogota for more than 30 years, but Nocona was always home.

Cecil is survived by his children: Ricky Doyle and wife Adrianna Lancaster of Ada Oklahoma; Cheryl LaRue and husband Jeff of Paris; sister, Betty Stephens of Nocona; brother Dawson Doyle of Nocona; grandchildren Victoria Bethea, Jon LaRue, Casandra LaRue, and Tabitha LaRue all of Paris; three great grandchildren, nephews and nieces and faithful dog Scooter.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Willetta, and brother William Ray Doyle, Jr.

Graveside services will take place Tuesday at 2PM at Nocona Cemetery under the direction of Scott Morris Funeral Home. Darwin Anderson of Calvary Chapel in Paris will officiate.
