Melva Jo Staley, 94, passed away on January 10, 2019 in Fort Worth, TX. She was born on August 27, 1924 in Nocona, TX to Carl and Aleene Gray. Growing up in Nocona, she graduated from Nocona High School in 1942. She attended Tarleton State. Later she married Luther Martin “L.M.” Staley, Jr. on May 29, 1948. Melva Jo was a member of Central Christian Church for 58 years.

The funeral service was held at Central Christian Church in Nocona on Sunday, January 13, 2019 with Dr. Scott Hamilton officiating.

Melva Jo is survived by her children, Dean Gray Staley and wife Jana of Nocona, TX and Jo Carol Morrow and husband Thomas of Nocona, TX and one grandchild, Carr Phillips Staley and wife Brittany.
