Patricia "Patti" Pounds of Nocona passed from this life Friday, July 17th at her home. She was 80 years old. 
	Patti was the daughter of Arlie and Bonnelle Burleson. She was born January 7, 1940 in Ryan, Oklahoma, and she moved to Texas as fast as she could! Patti married Lewis Pounds, and they made their home in Nocona. 
	Patti was a longtime resident of Nocona, and she made many friends working at Mike & Mom's Grocery. In her free time, Patti served her community by delivery Meals on Wheels. She liked to dance and went to all the senior dances she could.  Patti, also enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers.  She has many beautiful flowers and took care of them very well. Even more than caring for her flowers, Patti loved caring for and spending time with her family.
	A faithful Christian, Patti was member of Central Christian Church for many years, and more recently she had enjoyed being part of the Nocona Hills Community Church.
	Patti was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband Richard in 2000.  
	Patti is survived by: her two children: daughter, Debra Ann Tramontana and husband Dean, and her son Michael Lewis Pounds and wife Laura; her sister Frances Richardson and favorite brother-in-law Johnny, and brother Elton Burleson and wife Metta; three grandchildren: B. J. Guerrero, Sean Guerrero and Ashley Pounds; as well as seven great-grandchildren, and long time special friend Johnny Eldred.  
	The family will receive friends Monday, July 20, 2020 from 6-7PM at Scott-Morris Funeral Home. Patti's funeral service will be Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 10 AM at Central Christian Church in Nocona, Texas with interment following at Nocona Cemetery.  Pastor Ron Wilson will be officiating.
