Larry Pat King, age 79 of Nocona, Texas passed from this life on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. Larry was born in Fort Worth, Texas on March 6, 1941 to Mary & Joe King. He grew up with two older brothers, Bill and Lonnie. Larry graduated from Technical High School in Fort Worth and enlisted in the US Army in 1961. He met Coleen Brookmole on January 5, 1964 and they were married in 1966 in Clay county. Throughout his life of selling cars he worked for various car dealerships and even had his own used car lot, Nocona Motors for 15 years. Larry enjoyed anything to do with cars and loved fishing with his buddies at Lake Nocona or any old local tank. 

Larry loved the Lord and was an active and faithful member of the Nocona Church of Christ, where he served as a deacon for almost 25 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Coleen and two daughters, Cristi Eudy (Aubrey); Candace Priddy (Jeff); two nephews Stephen Dale King and Bruce King; grandson Adam Priddy and granddaughter Linzie Priddy. 

Visitation is at Jerry Woods Funeral Home in Nocona on Sunday, October 4th from 5:30-7:00 PM. Graveside service will be Monday, October 5th at 10:30 AM at Nocona Cemetery.
