Banks, the little child of Mrs. Georgia Burrell of Goodnight, Texas, died while enroute to the hospital at Ft. Worth to be operated on for appendicitis and was brought here for burial. The remains were taken to the home of Mrs. Burrell's brother, Dr. N W Crain and wife, where the funeral services occurred Sunday evening. 

Among the out of town guests that attended the funeral were A W Crain of Goodnight, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Jno  Vick of Ft. Worth, Texas. They are now guests at the Dr. Crain home.
