\"Dan\" Carl Daniel Harper, age 80, of Nocona, TX passed away September 15, 2004 at the Horizon Manor Care Center in Nocona, TX.

Mr. Harper was born April 13, 1924 in Hastings, OK to James Madison and Lilly Simms Harper. He married Evelyn Lucille McIntyer on February 13, 1947 in Wichita Falls, TX. He was a member of the Bonita Baptist Church and he served in the United States Navy. He was retired from Brown Well Service.

Graveside services for Mr. Harper were held Thursday, September 16, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. at the Nocona Cemetery with Zack Randals and Brian Robertson officiating. Services were under the direction of Scott Morris Funeral Home.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Evelyn Harper, Nocona, TX; children, Dawn Kitchens, Nocona, TX; Danell Hughes, Nocona, TX and Deidre Hazel, Waurika, OK; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Opal Allen, Temple, OK
