Born January 4, 1936, to O.T. and Lillian Molsbee, Mary Alice Stewart lived her childhood on the outskirts of Nocona, Texas in the Molsbee Chapel area and attended Prairie Valley and Nocona Schools. She resided in Mesquite, Texas from 1960 to 2009 and Sunnyvale, Texas from 2009 until she passed away March 16th, 2018. She retired from the Dallas Community College District, Eastfield Campus, Financial Aid Department in 1998. Survivors include children Leasa and Allen Rogers, Whitesboro, Texas, and Terri and James Lewers, Sunnyvale, Texas; grandchildren Lance Lewers, Chassie Huffman, Lacy Lewers, and Aubrey Rogers, and four great-grandsons. Mary had remained fiercely independent for 82 years until her petite body decided it no longer wanted to reside on this earth. Normally of even temperament, you could get a rise out of her by trash-talking her Dallas Cowboys, with the exception of Jerry Jones; "... he isn't good for the team."

Mary's graveside service was Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Nocona Cemetery under the direction of Scott Morris Funeral Home
